Oak & Iron: Restaurant Visual Identity

Oak & Iron exists to reconnect high-end diners with the primal elements of ancestral fire-cooking through a refined, farm-to-table experience. The primary challenge was to merge the raw, brutalist nature of open-fire techniques with a sophisticated fine-dining atmosphere without relying on rustic clichés. To solve this, I developed a visual identity focused on "Brutalist Refinement," utilizing heavy serif typography and a tactile palette of charcoal and bone to mirror the restaurant’s commitment to materiality and expert craftsmanship.
